In the new GIZ project I am allowed to work intensively with Kyrgyz tour operators on the sustainability of their travel offers. The goal is not only product improvement, but also internal certification by the umbrella organization KATO.

For the Pedagogical University of South Tyrol it goes to Tramin. In the educational institution Schloss Rechtenthal, Christian works together with Helga Mayr and South Tyrolean teachers on how they can integrate sustainability in tourism into their lessons.

The project concept k.i.d.Z.21 enables information and competence exchange on climate change topics in a dialogue between students and expert scientists. Christian contributes with the relations between tourism and climate.

In the Smart City Round Table Brunch Christian discusses the possibilities of the city of Salzburg to make tourism more sustainable.

After intensive on-line preparations and massively changed by Corona, 25 thought leaders discuss the future of tourism in Austria in a two-day workshop in Vienna. The process was initiated by Destination Management Monitor Austria (DMMA) and Österreich Werbung. Christian is responsible for the sustainability pillar.
